With yet another KILLER New York Fashion Week behind us, (sigh) I find myself more style inspired than ever. While I did not get to be in the city this time around (sigh again x100) It is definitely my favorite time of year to avidly be scrolling through my Instagram feed. Aside from the breath-taking pieces strolling down the runway (btw Michael Kors Collection SLAYED, not like I'm bias or anything) I am obsessed with seeing city-goers street style during Fashion Week. Whether it be bloggers, editors, models, etc. everyone is taking risks and it's so refreshing to see the personal level of style they incorporate.
I decided to play around with my own street style as of late. This paint splattered military jacket is one of my favorite pieces in my closet, I love discovering new ways to style it. I added high waisted denim riding shorts and a white bando to wear as a top. I definitely thought it was appropriate to ditch the heels with this look, so I added fun, grey fringed sneakers to play up the white and green tones of this look.
The most important part of discovering your own personal style is to have fun and take risks with it.
