Take one glance through my blog or even just my Instagram and it's no shocker that I love denim. Sometimes I believe it's my second layer of skin. To keep it fresh with every new wear, I love to experiment pairing denim with various patterns, hues, and textures. My above look is what I styled for the last Cincinnati Instameet. I love these events because they have allowed me to meet some seriously rad + talented photographers, artists, models, and bloggers. That being said, there is a LOT of walking involved with each meet so I wanted to keep it comfortable and casual.
I kept it simple up top with a bando that I styled as a strapless top paired with this high waisted grid patterned skirt. I threw on my momma's vintage over sized denim which added some much needed texture to balance out the black and white. And as always, you can never go wrong with Converse, always a kick ass staple. Another known fact is my obsession with the 60's and 70's so naturally I had to finish off my look with these over sized hoops. I often like to pair my aesthetic~~ with looking like a Jackson Browne groupie. Can't blame me either, he's a babe & 1/2.
